WHAT IS RF SKIN TIGHTENING?

Radio Frequency (RF) energy is a non-surgical technology used to smooth and tighten the skin.  The RF energy penetrates 8 mm into the tissue creating a warm and soothing effect to the underlying tissue.

Tissue is headed from 40ºC to 50ºC.   The hand piece is continuously moved around the treatment area creating a warm and relaxing sensation.  The localized heat emitted in the sub-dermal layer stimulates the production of new collagen, shrinks existing collagen, re-organizing it to support the skin resulting in a smoothing of the surface.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF RF TREATMENTS?

  • Reduces fat and cellulite in localized areas
  • Improves the appearance of scars including stretch marks or acne scarring
  • Smooths and clears cases of varicose veins, broken blood vessels
  • Evens out skin discolouration
  • Addresses surface wrinkles leaving smoother tighter skin.
  • Targets dark spots on the skin.

TIME COMMITMENT AND RESULTS

Tightening effects can be seen immediately after just one session with full results taking from one to three months to appear.  Clients typically receive six to eight thirty minute treatment sessions over the course of three to four weeks.  Clients are encouraged to book one maintenance session approximately ever 6 to 8 months to maintain tightening effects.

If you decide to continue with treatments after your package of 8 sessions is complete, we require a minimum of three to four weeks waiting period before beginning with additional treatments.  This waiting period allows your body time to produce collagen from the treatments.
